Presidential Banners found by JGB

The president of JGB, Jay Bernhardt, found these pictures in the attic of a house he purchased in Upstate New York.

In 1892, Benjamin Harrison, the 23rd President, and his new running mate, Whitelaw Reid were running for reelection. After a losing battle to Grover Cleveland, this banner was discarded.

Also shown are pictures of another presidential banner. These featuring 1904 Democratic presidential candidate Alton B. Parker. He was defeated by President Theodore Roosevelt who was running for reelection.
